Step 01 — Extract the Seeds
Cut a ripe tomato in half and scoop the seeds into a bowl of water. Wait 2 days to remove the gel coating, then rinse and dry on a paper towel.

🌱 Use organic tomatoes — they sprout more reliably.
Step 02 — Plant in a Pot

Press 2–3 seeds ½ cm deep into seed-starting mix. Mist with water and place in a warm spot (21–27°C). A sunny windowsill is perfect.
Step 03 — Wait for Sprouts

Sprouts appear in 7–14 days. Keep soil moist, not soggy. Once seedlings hit 5 cm, keep the strongest one. It needs 6+ hours of sun daily.
Step 04 — Water, Wait & Harvest

Water every 2–3 days. Move to a bigger pot at 15 cm and add a support stick. Tomatoes are ready when fully red and slightly soft — around 60–80 days.
💡 Best for beginners: Cherry tomatoes like Sweet 100 or Juliet grow fastest indoors.
